Youth Park

Penang City Park or youth park is a large recreational area complete by the swimming pool, playground, field for jogging. It is always huge with visitors and becomes congested during the school holidays. It is well known as the Youth Park, this recreational park for Penangites. 

The garden comes from quarry land and was built in the early 70s, to provide recreation areas for recreation youth. The Youth Academy, which is the name given at the time, has a skating rink and auditorium. There are also places for archery, open-air playgrounds, camping sites and hiking trails for those who want to get to Bukit Bendera and three swimming pools, including pools and attractive landscapes for free public convenience.

There is no charge for parking and the use of the toilet and dressing room as the five-star hotel in the park which opened in 1972.
